BSplayer says not responding when attempting to open file

Whenever I open BSplayer it loads up fine. But as soon as I try to open a file it just freezes and doesn't respond. I think my comp may have had a virus...Win32.SDdrop.B and/or Win32.SObig so I'm not too sure if that affected it. My BSplayer was working fine until the past few days. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
