A few bugs! Okay, here it goes: 1) Recent bug (only seen it with the latest 499 version) When I put for example 2 files on the playlist (2 CD movie for example) and watch it in full screen mode there is a bug at the transition between 1st and 2nd file: instead of switching to full screen, BSPlayer "thinks" it's full screen but it's just a window with the movie playing, so I get an annoying border on the top and left borders of the screen and my movie is not positioned where I set it to. If I change files manually there isn't such a problem, but it's not very nice as my home-theather is in a separate room from my computer, so the playlist was very good. I'm I the only to have this bug? I tried uninstalling old copy (renamed), reinstalled from 499 and I ran the registry settings cleaner (settings were back to standard). 2) I'm not sure if this is happening in the newer version (didn't watch a film that had this problem). When you reduce your movie size in full screen (so that you have black borders on the left and the right of the screen, there is a bug with subtitles: if the size of the subtitle is bigger then the "movie" size, BSplayer writes the subtitle corretly "outside" the movie limitations BUT it doesn't erase it. The fact is that I zoom my movie to try not to loose any part of the picture so I'm working on the limits and if a subtitle is bigger and doesn't get erased on the outside, I can still see a "shadow" in my TV, even though it's not visible text. Sorry for the long post, sorry if my text is confusing, this is not my native language so I can't be as clear as I want ;). Thanks again for BSplayer, can't live without it 8) . |

I'v got that first bug too. When the playlist starts the second part of the movie, I get those annoying borders on the top and left border of the screen. I also have a theater-room in a separate room from my computer, and it's very very annoying to go and fix the problem manually from the computer. Is there any way to fix this problem? My BSPlayer version is 0.86

Hi! I'm sorry but my English is pure. I use BSPlayer v 0.86 b500, 07.30.2003. It's some bugs: - When I created *.bsi (not chapters section) and *.chf files. I clicked the *.bsi file the chepters was show, but not works. - When I use frames to chapters, your player rounds the values to second. - When I created *.bsi file and FName=*.bsl, BSPlayer plays only first file of the list. - I created *.bsi file: [Main] NumberCDs=3 CD=1 [Movie] Title=x Directory=. FName=01.avi FName2=02.avi FName3=03.avi But the files was on the hard disk some directory. When the BSPlayer was finished 01.avi asked for the CD2, don't played the movie continuous. (I know it isn't bug now that FNameX feature is reserved.) - I play a movie on full screen and evoke Controls and click the play window, left and bottom borders of the play window be showed. - I entered the AVI Tags to a movie file with abcAVI Tag Edit. The Window Media Player and Media Player Classic show the title of movie but BSPlayer doesn't it in Video Info feature. - BSPlayer changes the subtitle's font to Arial, 16, normal, black color sometime. I don't know when and why does it. Error messages: BSPlayer v0.86.500, Unhandled exception at EIP: 00403FAB If you click 'Close' application will be terminated. When I use 'for full screen mode switch to...' item, play a movie and press F key, in this case the Windows Desktop is showed on left. (About 2-5 pixels on left side, but I checked the borderless play window then this gap' width is 5-10 pixels.) When open a list file with 'Open...' menu, the player doesn't open the first file. It's like open nothing. The list files don't get into 'Recent files...' menu item. I open a list file and begin play it. I click on the process line about end. When the player gets to the end of first file doesn't opens second file but plays firs file again. When I open a list file and begin play it then stop it and close file. Now, I open this file again but the player doesn't it. |
