Default Click movie clip on webpage not working for some files

Hi there.

When I click on a link to a .wmv file on a webpage it is downloaded & played automatically in BSPlayer.

When I click on a .asf file, nothing happens.

The file associations are exactly the same.

Any idea why one would launch & not the other? I've noticed this on a few formats...

Nevermind... One word.. Quicktime.

It screwed up some of the formats & I had to go & remove some of it's garbage from the registry... =-(

Too bad .mov is not an open standard. =-(
