BSPlayer doesn't start on Win98SE

This problem was already mentioned in the forum, but no suggestion worked on my computer.
When I start BSPlayer, nothing happens on the screen.
But a "bplay" process appears in the "Ctrl-Alt-Del" window, and the CPU works at 100%.
I tried DirectX8.1 and DirectX9.0b, unsuccessful
The Last BSplayer Version that worked, was 84-483.

Nevertheless, it works fine on my computer at work with win2000.

My configuration
-Win98SE french, DirectX9.0b
-Celeron 400
