Resolution changes at startup

Hallo people
i have an ATI Card, with an TV-Out. Since I have to put down the resolution from 1024 to 800, I want BSPlayer to switch it. But, the "At start switch to" and the "At fullscreen switch to" options in the Prefrences-Sheet, are disabled. How can I enable them or tell BSPlayer to change the resolution.
