Default 2. Audio file makes disturbing noises only in bsplayer

I have got ha problem using a second audiofile / stream

In winamp oder MS Media player the mp3 file souds good without any noises.
I have already tried different codecs, but if the mp3 codec would be the problem, why does only bsplayer produces the noises.

First I thought it wodl be the VBR, so I converted the mp3 file with cool edit into a CBR file. Then the noises are getting lower, but they still exists.

Thats very dissappointing, because I have got al lot of movies with different languagestreams ( but always external mp3s )

If you want to hear the noises, I have recorded them with WinXP audiorecorder. You can download it here:

http://home.arcor.de/redfox007/download/bsplayer.zip

1. played with MS Mediaplayer an without noises
2. played with BSplayer build 499 and with clear noises

Please help me!

I use WinXP Pro
K-lite Codec Pack
Nimo Codec Pack (only the AC3 filter)
DivX 5.05
Xvid latest codec

It also happens on a Win98 SE PC with an older BSplayer and without K-lite codec pack

Thank you for helping

bye Fox

What do you have set for Output audio device ? If it's WaveOut try to set it to DirectSound or Default.

sorry, I didn't post it, but I solved the problem.
What bsplayer, mpc and wmp64 have in common is that they all use windows' dshow filter (or whatever is installed) for decoding, winamp has its own decoder.
It seems that the there were versions of iviaudio.ax (for AC3 decoding) which could decode mp3 very badly. wmp8 and higher and winamp have their own filters, t´hus there were no noises.
I just installed a new AC3 package from sourceforge and now everything is fine :)
