Subs does not appear on tv, but ok on pc I have used bspalyer for some time, and think it works quite fine. I used to have build 493, but tried to upgrade to 498. That did not work however, and I remained with the 493. Anyway I have now updated to the latest download - the 500. My problem is that I have a trouble trying to get the subs on the tv. If I view the movie on the computer, subs are there and works fine, but somehow get lost on the way to the tv. I am not strong in all the overlay etc. business, but maybe someone got a clue to what happens? I have tried another tv-set with same result, making me conclude that is has to do with the settings somewhere in bsplayer. best regards atz |
no subs on tv, but on on pc ...and I use nvidia nView 2.0 version 6.14.10.4403 If it has anything to do with it? I just set my second screen to TV and clicked it to clone the pc. |
Try selecting Draw subtitles to overlay surface or something like this in Subtitles preference page. |
I'm using a much older version (4.13.1.3140), but I have no problems: http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?p=7053#7053  By the way: the latest version is 86 build 501. To upgrade: place the two substituting files of build 501 http://www.bsplayer.org/dlfile.php?fname=bsplay.zip in BSPlayer's installation directory, overwriting the existing files with the same name. |
