acjcn is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Subs does not appear on tv, but ok on pc

I have used bspalyer for some time, and think it works quite fine. I used to have build 493, but tried to upgrade to 498. That did not work however, and I remained with the 493. Anyway I have now updated to the latest download - the 500.

My problem is that I have a trouble trying to get the subs on the tv. If I view the movie on the computer, subs are there and works fine, but somehow get lost on the way to the tv.

I am not strong in all the overlay etc. business, but maybe someone got a clue to what happens? I have tried another tv-set with same result, making me conclude that is has to do with the settings somewhere in bsplayer.

best regards
atz

Default

Try selecting Draw subtitles to overlay surface or something like this in Subtitles preference page.

BSPeter is on a distinguished road
Default

I'm using a much older version (4.13.1.3140), but I have no problems:
http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?p=7053#7053

By the way: the latest version is 86 build 501.
To upgrade: place the two substituting files of build 501 http://www.bsplayer.org/dlfile.php?fname=bsplay.zip in BSPlayer's installation directory, overwriting the existing files with the same name.
