DivX freezes :(

Hello.

I encoded X-Men using 1280 kbit/s, 2pass and some MPEG4-features such as GMT, Quarter-Pixel and Bidrectional Encoding as well as Psychovisual Enhancements and Source Preprocessing (DivX 5.02).
I dunno why the finished video freezes at some points. For example, if I only encode the first chapter itself, the video does not freeze, but encoding the entire video it does.
Are the MPEG4-features the problem? The official DivX Player and Windows Media Player 6.4/7.1 do not freeze, so I can't believe that it's actually the video.
Any suggestions?
