OSD won't shutt off in TV output mode

When using the TV ouput mode on my Nvidia Geforce2 GTS the OSD will not turn off. It is frustrating to have the counter continously displayed in the upper left hand corner. Any help in how to turn off the OSD permanently or fix the bug would be appreciated.
