-=- Some *USUAL* video formats can't be show on BSPLAYER -=- First of all, I tried ALL codecs (last versions of FFDshow, KazaaLITE video CODECs, Xvid Codec Official and Umaniac Xvid Codec)... There is NO CODEC PROBLEM!! Some video formats can't be show on BSPLAYER. for example: one very popular: Matrix_Reloaded_(2003).Repack.CD1.Pr0nStarS.ShareR eactor.avi Matrix_Reloaded_(2003).Repack.CD2.Pr0nStarS.ShareR eactor.avi by Windows Properties: (MPEG Layer-3,149 kBit/s, 48,000 Hz, Stereo) (640 x 272, 83190 frames, 25.000 frames/s, 214 KB/s, unknow format) oh..it's normal DIVx 3... I don´t know what happen!!! Windows Media Player, GlobalPlayer and Quickview for DOS works fine... Switching to RGB mode, runs ok (256 color - IMPOSSIBLE to watch, too bad quality!) I think that a particular kind of video format cant be run on bsp...

Instead of unchecking that DivX option, try changing the FourCC of the files themselves using AviC, a little utility included in the XviD codec installer. In that you can change which codec the movie file tells the player it's using. For instance, on most files coded with XviD I tend to switch the FourCC to DivX, if only because for some reason I can't alter the brightness settings for the XviD codec in BSPlayer, either in the codec properties or in preferences. (but that is a small issue)

To Jack: First of all update your xvid codec. Newest codecs can modify brightness. To the shadow :D Sometimes windows has an ambition to delete installed codecs and to replace them with it's own one. Check that you have divx3.11 and divx 5(one of them). |
