Overlay Tv-Out

I got a problem using bsplayer, when I turn on the tv-output, bsplayer shows me the common overlay failed message when playing an avi file, but I still can watch the movie, with the tv-output disabled I dont have any troubles. So my question is, how to avoid that message? or if there's anyway to fix it?
Any help is Welcome :D
