unknown file format (TSCC)

I got an AVI in Camtasia format (TSCC) all players (media player Classic 6.4.5.6, windows media player 6.4.9.1128, virtual dub) play it on my system except bsplayer... error is:

"Unknown file format (TSCC)"

uninstalled previous version and installed 0.86 Build 501 still same error...
I'm using win2k sp4.

gspot2.0 shows 4CC code as "tscc" Name "TechSmith Screen Capture Codec" and Codec IS installed.

any ideas as to why bsplayer doesn't recognize the file format??
