Unable to configure winamp plugin

i've found the following bug:
-- if i choose "default" in Audio->Output device then i can configure the plugin
-- if i choose my sound card (SBlive) then i can't configure the plugin, and i can hear that it is not loaded

does someone have the same pb? is there a solution? or is it due to the plugin (it is rocksteady, a plugin to amplify sound on low sound level soundtracks)

This problem is still present.
The real problem is that when setting the output to anything else than 'default', DSP plugin does not work; i can see it in right clic -> audio but it does not work at all.
