Default All settings cleared after re-install

After I install a newer version of BSPlayer in the same directory as in the older all the preferences that I have changed before are now "cleared" and I have to set them again which is VERY boring.

Thanks,
you've made the best player!

Default why isn't anyone replying to this?

i have had the exact same problem and i won't install 805 just cause i don't feel like reconfiguring my entire remote system every time.

there's also this thread http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?t=3999 that didn't get any response from BSPeter or any other BSP team member and that's a shame cause i'm sure alot of people encounter this issue.

Please let me know how to manually save these settings so I can install 805, and I think you should make sure the next build doesn't erase these settings.

10x

Yes I have the same problem... So all you have to do is save the bsplayer.xml file that is in the bsplayer directory on the desktop and reinstall then paste that xml file back into the directory and all settings are saved. It really isn't that hard.
