AC3 decoding and Video problem Hi, I have been using BS-Player for several years now, but now I ran into a problem with AC3 audio: I want the data-stream to be output trough the SPDIF Connection of my soundcard, which works fine with both the Cyberlink-decoder and AC3Filter. But whenever playing a movie with AC3 audio, the picture stutters and seems to skip frames, which is pretty anoying. The movies itself are perfectly fine, tested in V-Dub and BS-Player without sound. Any ideas? Thanks alot in advance. EDIT: BTW, the CPU usage seldomly goes over 20% |
Already tried to give BSPlayer a higher process priority? (right-click > Options > Preferences > General > "Proces priority" (lower part about in the middle) |
Just tried it, didn't help. The CPU usage didn't change at all. |
Which versions of BSPlayer, AC3filter (0.70b?) and DirectX are you using? |
BS Player: 1.00 RC1 803 AC3Filter: 0.70b DirectX: 9.0b OS: WinXP EDIT: Just tried it with BSPlayer 805, now it's smooth as silk. Thanks alot anyway. |
