Critical Error my computer SHUTDOWN when starting any movie

thats it ... :( my computer is forced to power off in an unfriendly way making a my xomputer to restore from a critical state when booting again....
it always happens when I have had it installed for awhile with any version first I though that it overloaded my computer and made a safe shutdown to not get any damage....

I have this:
AMD 2000+(1600)
512 DDRAM (333)
Geforce 2 MX (32)

Im quite unfamiliar with these things =/
