Default Open Avi

Hello,

I've used Gordian Knot 0.26.1 many times to encode a movie with Divx codec 5.02.

When i try to open with Player 2, no problem the movie is played.
When i try with the last Bsplayer, i have the message "unknow file format (Divx)".
Same thing with OggMux : "can't render input file : xxx.avi"
I have reinstalled the codec, nothing changes.

Do you know how to resolve this ?

what version of bsplay do you have,
divx5.02 support is only in the latest version,

make sure you have the latest, and maybe try to reinstall it.

get it here,

I have 0.85 build 490 and i had already try to reinstall, nothing changes.
In fact, as said bsplayer is not the only one app which do not manage to open the file. Only Player 2 and Virtuadub success in reading the file, i don't understand at all.

I have the same problem. Some avi files give the message, when opened with bsplay 085 build 490:

unknown file format (DIV3)

I already reinstalled all the codecs, and bsplay, but nothing works.

The same file won't play on MS media player 6, but does play on DivX Player 2.0 Alpha
