Default Can't create DirectDraw Surface
I just downloaded BS player about a week ago and it worked fine until lastr night. Tried re-installing it and restarting, but I still get that error whenever I try to open a video. The player itself stays open but I can not run any any videos.

I run Windows ME.

TRy to swich the overlay mode from 1 to 2. See what's happening.

I exactly have the same problem !!!! I have updated DirectX drivers, but nothing changes...

i have solved problem, but it is not a cool fix . . .

first i uninstallled and reinstalled the newest version . . . no good

so i installed an older version . . . now running build 804 version 1.00 RC1 (whatever all that means) . . . works fine

go figure
