O hear cracking in the sound obviously depending on the level of noise. I am convinced it is a BS problem as the same avi file sounds well with other (more stupid) players, such as Media player.

Perhaps it could be just that the different players use different options/filters for audio output? :P
My bro yesterday found a quirk in internal alpha version of AC3filter 1.01a and it's also weird noise... :roll:
But yes, it happens with every other players then too :?
