Default Subtitles problem

I recently downloaded a foreign film which uses a .SUB file. Yet I can't get the subtitles to work. Can anyone help me?

Probably is a dvdripp subtitle. It is not recognized by BSPlayer. If it is some 50 KB large then is ok, and you can open it with note\wordpad and should look like:

{100}{200}How are you
or

1
00:00:01,325->00:00:03,250
How are you

and it should work.

But if is some like 3-10 MB then you can't do nothing than to rip it to text sub using SubRip.
