Default No sound with some DivX files

Hi,

I should point out that I really enjoy BSPlayer on my usual computer. But I installed it on my laptop (HP compaq nx 9010, W2000 professional) and I have trouble with DivX files. When I try to open them I received the following message "file is corrupted! seeking will be very slow" and then the image is OK but I have no sound.
Could you please help me to solve this problem (BSPlayer and the same file are OK with ffdshow only on my current computer.
I installed the relevant CODEC (in my case DivX5.02). Should I also install some filters like ffdshow or AC3. And if so, should I configure then or BSPlayer in a special way

Installing an AC3 decompresor or AC3Filter will be a good thing to do.
