Default Explorer.exe sucking up CPU's during/after watching movies

Hey there.. can anyone help me with this problem?

I have no problems playing movies etc.... but whenever I play a movie Explorer.exe suddenly starts using 99% of the CPU ( looking at the Windows Task Manager). After I close BSplayer the problem continues..... not constantly but instead cycles up and down from 0-100% even when nothing else is operating. The Task Manager also shows 87,000,000 page faults!!!!! This slows the computer down horrifically ( and pisses off my girlfriend when she tries to do some word processing ).

Anyone have any ideas????

Default

I don't think that Bsplayer causes that problem! You may have a faulty fan (on gpu, or cpu) which causes overheating! Or your codecs are messed up!
