Unknown file format (Mpg)

Bsplayer 809 says Unknown file format when I try to play an .mpg file. The strange thing is that the video still starts but in a Activemovie window in bsplayer. The mpg files I´ve tried works fine in version 808 and older version, they also works in wmp and power dvd.

I´ve tried to reinstall codec and bsplayer but I still have the same problem.

I have the exact same problem. Anybody have any ideas what may be happening?

Edit: I know what is wrong. If you install the Elecard codec, you'll be fine. Give that a try.

same problem here since i upgraded from 803 to 810 !!!
Before that, everything was running fine ... :-(

Modification to my post: Yeah, the Elecard Video codec fixed the problem ! :D strange !? I don't remember installing or removing it from my computer :? if you need it it's here http://www.elecard.net.ru/download/

Get the Elecard codec and try that. Worked for me.
