Very bad sound Running Win2k and BSPlayer 0.85.488 The soundtrack on anything with an MPEG soundtrack (That's MP2 or MP3) sounds TERRIBLE, like it's a 32kbps MP3...if I extract the audio track and play it in Winamp it sounds like it should.... I think it's a codec issue, since it also sounds bad in Windows Media Player 6, but doesn't affect AC3 files (Whether using SP/DIF or not) I've installed the latest Nimo codec pack but it hasn't made any difference. I don't THINK I'm using the trial version of the Fraunhoffer codec (Which I'm led to believe limits output to 48kbps) as when using Virtualdub I have access to the full range of bitrates... |
