Default BSPlayer handling subtitles wrong on DivX

Hello,

I am having trouble with BSPlayer playing DivX videos.
I have the latest (July 16th) version of BSPlayer and DivX (5.2).

BSPlayer is -always- rendering subtitles on Matroska DivX movies, even if I check "Disable Subtitles" on options. I want the subtitles to be handled by VS Filter (I have the latest version too, 2.33. Previously known as DirectVobSub), but BSPlayer makes a point of showing them!

Curiously, it works just fine for non-DivX files, so I have no idea what's going on. IN FACT, if I uninstall DivX and let XviD take over, it also works fine... the problem is that XviD can't play the latest DivX videos right. I don't want to install ffdshow either, because that messes up with WMV9 codec, which I need working fine.

Also, vsfilter works fine on ZoomPlayer and Windows Media Player, on the same file, so I guess the issue can only be with BS. Which is a shame, since it's my favorite player. :(

Finally, even if I set VSFilter to "Always Load", it DOESN'T load on this file, though it will load on subtitle-less files. O_o

It LOOKS like the problem is also with Matroska only, since VSFilter loads fine on some Ogg Media files I have...

Oh, and I'm running BSPlayer on Windows XP Pro SP2 on an Athlon XP 2200+ on an nVidia GeForce 4 MX 440 @ 1024x768x32, 256MB RAM. I also had the same issues on SP1.

Seems to be the 2nd post about the same problem in short time. Maybe is BSPlayer's fault ?
If you use DIvX 5.11 instead of 5.2 the problem remains ?

Wonders of wonders, DivX 5.11 solves the problem. SIGH... Thanks for the help. :)

[Though 5.2 still works on Zoom, so I guess it's still BSPlayer's bug]

In the past, BSPlayer did had problems handling newer versions of DivX decoder. Solved by a new release of BSPlayer. Probably one is close.
