I have no sound :-( hello, I've got no sound. It probably isn't a bs-player error, but it all happened with installing WINXP SP2 Most of my sound seems to work, only WMP, and bsplayer don't even notice there to be no sound. I removed the MP3 audio decoder .DLL file, in Windows/system; and WMP found out there to be no codec, so it requested to reinstall the codec. I did, but still, no sound. I tried some codec-packs, I tried some players (DIVX-playa works fine with the sound, though the problem is, that it doesnt play all formats(MKV, XVID, etc.) what do I do now? It's not a hardware issue, because I can hear sound, when I'm testing my speakerconfig; midi, mic, and CD. Also, my DVD player gives sound.. What should I trie next? :? |
Maybe an AC3 decoder ? And to change in options->preferences->audio your default output device to DIrectSound for example. |
