Default audio-video delay

I'm having a 1-2 seconds delay between audio and video on several avi format movies. Any idea how can I fix this?
Thanx

What CPU do you have ? IS it fast enough to decode ? If not, then there is the cause for delay. If not, then probably the file itself have a delay. In this case you must open the file in VirtualDub for example, go to video->diret stream copy, audio->direct stream copy, audio->interleaving and input there your delay. Save as avi.
