well yes. The operation (regsvr32 -u) is telling the system not to use this splitter anymore. As far as I know, any application on your system that needed an mpeg2 splitter was using this one. Now any application that needs a mpeg2 splitter will be using the directx one. I have no idea what the differences between the 2 splitters are, but hopefully the apps won't see any difference. anyway, as I said, if you have any problem you can easily revert to the previous situation by just re-registering the mpeg2parser.ax filter. |

Hi Quietseb, I installed version 1.02, build 812, that claims to fix problems with LIGOS MPEG2 decoders, but the bug that I reported earlier in this thread still exists. I know how to bypass it thanks to your explanation, but I thought it would be better to post this report anyway. See below.
