On Running BSP.86 my OS slows down a lot later stabilizes

Hi All,

My Configs

P-III 450Mhz , 256 MB SD Ram , Sound Blaster Live 5.1
NVida Riva TNT 8MB GPU , Win 98 SE

Past one month i am facing this problem whenever i click on bplay.exe
of BsPlayer 0.86 version my system slows down drastically even my
mouse moves very slowly and every thing is slowed down by a great extent and later on BS Player opens up in 1 to 2 mins exactly and
every thing is back to normal, this thing happens even if i open
Bs Players folder or even if i install Bs Player 0.86 from the K-Lite
Codec Pack or even from the BsPlayer 0.86 setup.

This thing has just started from one month and even i formated my
system so that i think my problem wud be solved but still it open in
the same way I am not able to know what is the cause of this problem.

Can some one help me out i love BS Player 0.86 a lot and i dont want
to miss it.

BsPlayer 1.00 works fine no problems but Bs Player 0.86 is having
problems.


All other Softwares MPC , VLC , Windows MP 9 work fine but BsPlayer
0.86 is having this system slowing problems .

BSPlayer also was not playing my WMV files (I also wanted a solution
for this)

Do ask me if you need ne more information from my side to help you
solve my problem.

Please Help me out.

maybe you run nav2004 and it suffers from the same problem as described here ? (problem with norton antivirus)
[builds 811 & 812 of the 1.x series are not supposed to suffer from that problem and I don't know which you use]

I am refering to 0.86 version
But i have also tried verion 1.00 RC1 Build 803 24 Nov 2003 and its works fine.

I am having Nav 2002 and with latest Av Defs.

But earlier also i was using it with Nav 2002 using it since a year and half
no problem earlier it has started currently a month ago.
