ALX54,
I have a Radeon AIW 8500DV, & my player freezes at the same point as yours, so it would appear that we suffer the same problem.
(Unfortunately, I posted a seperate thread in Bug Reports just yesterday, as I didn't find this thread when I searched. http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?t=6980 )

I suspect the problem is due to lack of support for philips TV tuners,
as people using TV cards with BT chipsets don't seem to be having this problem at all.

0001001,
What is your capture device ? (specificaly, which tuner chip?)

As asked in my thread:
If there is no support for Rage Theater Video Capture devices at this point, is it somthing the creators of BS Player intend to add to future releases ?

Hi,

I get the same error message with my Terratec Cinergy 400 TV card as well. This card also has a Philips tuner.

I did not find any listing of the supported TV tuner cards on the BSplayer site, though I tried. It's a bit annying. If they introduce a new feature in the software, they should either support ALL tuners, or should give a list of the supported tuners BEFORE downloading.

Coix
