cinderfalling is an unknown quantity at this point
Default STILL upside down after FAQ/Search

I checked off "flip video" on ffdshow and experimented with overlay 1 and 2, and my videos are still flipped.

(I'd appreciate not getting redirected to other links... I've tried em all...and didn't understand a lot of it.)

Help?
Thanks.

I could post a link, but if you don't want....
So, try to uninstall ffdshow and install divx and xvid codecs.

Oh, no, that's not what I meant... I just didn't want to get shouted at: Use the search function! And, here's a link, you 'tard, fifty other people already asked this question.

I have all the codecs and stuff, and my ffdshow is working fine... blah.

Oh, sorry I've bothered you.

If your FFDshow works ok, then why the files are upside-down ?
Is it with all the files (avi and mpeg/mpg) or only with one of them (avi or mpeg/mpg) ?
When you open a file that is flipped and go to options->filters what filter is there mentioned to be in use ? FFDShow or DivX/XviD ?
