need restart to apply brightness change

I suppose this is not BSPlayer's fault:

Brightness adjustment does not affect the movie (or any video) if before a movie (or any video) was played (in WMP, VLC or BSPlayer itself).

I have to restart Windows to force brightness working.

Conf.: Windows XP Servis Pack 2, DirectX 9.0c, DivX 5.2.1, Codec Pack All in 1 - 6.0.2.0, BSplayer 1.10 (Build 814).
