Default video plays with 1.00.812 but not with 1.00.814

The new version of bsplayer (100.814) doesn't play a movie that the previous version (100.812) does : the audio is okay but there is no longer video (I see a black window or some weird things, but in any cases it's just a fixed picture)

The movie is encoded with Indeo video 5.10 for video and MP3 for audio.

Consequently, I keep my old version.

Default version 1 build 814 plays videos as audio files only

I recently upgraded from build 812 to 814. Now my videos will only play as audio files. I removed build 814 and reinstalled build 812 and no bsplayer plays both audio and video.

Please advise

Default Solution...!!!!!

Since I didn't find the solution to this problem on this forum, I decided to try myself to fix it, and I did it, this is what I did;

OS; Windows XP

Go to "Display Properties"
Then click on "Settings" tab
Now click on "Advanced" button
Then go to "Troubleshoot" tab, and try diferent combinations in the "Hardware acceleration" bar, I put mine in the middle and now the video is displayed correctly.

I hope this works also for all of you....

Please let me know.....

Default RE : Solution...!!!!!

I have windows XP and an ATI Radeon 9000.

I tried seriousman's solution :

It's work for me if I disable hardware acceleration ; thank you seriousman !

Nevertheless, it doesn't explain why bsplayer build 814 cannot play a film that both bsplayer build 812 and windows media player 9 play fine. Moreover, I need hardware acceleration for games, and I don't want to spend my time enable/disable hardware acceleration.
