*.m2v Support?
this might be a ffdshow problem, but for some reason i cant get my m2vs to work. the build im using is ffdshow-20050609.exe if it is ffdshow related

It may be related. I use elecard as MPEG2 decoder, never had any problem with mpg, m2v files.

whats a good version of ffdshow to use for m2v support then? not unless i need to configure this thing in a way

Yeah its something with Bsplayer, For some reason its choosing to read m2vs as an audio file and not video... because they work fine in media player clasic. :(

AFAIK
MPC use it's own built-in MPEG2 decoder, doesn't need an external one.
