bsplayer hangs up

hi there
i have a big bug with my bsplayer...
i study english and watch the movies with subtitles. when i don't know the word - i stop bsplayer and write down unknown word. and here is the problem - often it doesn't unfreeze after that!
it just hangs up and doesn't responds at all. the frame i was watching is freeze and that's all. then i have to close the application and starts it again. and it problem makes me sick.
i've changed versions of my bsplayer - but it didn't help.
what shall i do? where is the problem with that?
