Problem Opening File With Playlist Open

I am using Bsplayer Pro 2.10.939. I am running WinXP Pro SP2, 640 MB RAM, Intel P4 2Gh processor, ATI Radeon 9200 AGP vid card with 128 MB on board.

My problem only occurs if Bsplayer's playlist is open when it starts. In this case, if I double click any vid file to open it, Bsplayer starts fine with the playlist open and begins playing the file. The explorer window where the file resides is "locked up" however. I can only close it using the Task Manager. However if I close the Bsplayer's playlist, then everything is back to normal. I can even reopen the playlist and everything is still fine. Also, if I open a file by double clicking without the playlist set to open, the explorer window operates normally.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
