Video plays scrambled

When I try to play mpeg2 video with bs player (v2.1) that I have captured through a pctv card it starts playing in scrambled green lines. I am opening the Media library and double clicking the video clip that I want to play. It start all scrambled. If I stop the footage and click play again it starts the footage normal. I can also play the footage on another pc with bsplayer and it plays normal.

It's not bsplayer that plays your video, but DirectShow. Maybe you have installed different MPEG-2 filters on that other machine? See: Context_Menu -> Options -> Filters.
