Brightness control doesn't work, v 0.86

No matter what hotkey I set the brightness inc/dec to, it has no effect. I've tried it on several machines.
Also, the version number displays on the player as 0.85 when it is
in fact version 0.86 (the about box displays the correct version).

so, i've got the same problem
on win2k, athlon xp 2000+, geforce 2mx400...

hope it will be fixed sooooon :roll:
