Make public betas!!
Really, considering how annoying were/are the last small bugs that got into the latest official releases, I'd like to propose to the developers this very standard way of doing the last round of testing before the official release comes out. It would definitely squish all the hard-to-find, easy-to-fix bugs that bsplayer is riddled with.
Every other piece of software does this, I have no idea why would you guys insist on a development model that is inefficient/ineffective (release a build, then wait till enough new features/bugs accumulate, after 2 months make a new build and hope everything works, repeat).
