Thus some annoying and easy-to-fix bugs got into main releases, which is not very good, since it takes time for a next release to come out with fixes. That release was not publicly beta-tested either, so it introduced other small annoying bugs.
Now there is a beta-test, where we can find those bugs BEFORE a new major release comes out.
