The dvd show freezes over and over again

The operation of the software is full of stops during the dvd show of films. Usually when it happens the audio continues to work but the picture remains stuck. I have a laptop with Windows Vista pack1, the cpu is intel core 2 T5600 1.83 GHz, 4G Mem. Regards, Gabi

Can you post here wich filters are used to play the DVD ?
Rightclick->options->filters

Do you hear the dvd unit spinning high speed, or trying to read the sectors (going back and fotrh) ?
