bsplayer just doesn`t work

only version of bsplayer that works in my PC is v.084.(not installer, zip packed version)
all others versions,just don`t work!
if i doubleclick on the icon, it happends nothing:(
does anybody knows what the problem is?

I have celeron 400
geforce 2
128 mb sdram

nimo 5.0 build7 installed

i have win 98se,
directx 8.1

I've read somewhere (found it! it's here: http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?t=661) that regular bsplayer does no longer work under win98

debug version seems to work, though. try it
