cant choose bsplayer to play avi

when i right click on an avi file and click on open with/choose prog/browse/ and choose bsplay.exe , nothing happen
bsplay doesnt appear in the choose list of progs.
Why? could somebody help me
The only way to open an avi file is to launch bsplay first , then open the file from bsplay. :(

i finaly find out how to resolve my problem
I just had to change the bsplay.exe name in bsplayer.exe
Now it works perfectly :roll:

Actually I had the same problem and fixed this by linking the extension, not to bsplayer.exe but to the file bsplay.exe (that has no icon here).
You can also do so by going into you registery:
HKCU/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/explorer/fileext/ chose .avi and then you'll see a list of the programs available by preference order, just modify the right one to bsplay.exe.
