Basically, there are 2 differences between different releases. One difference is the frame rate, the second one it's the delay between the begining of the video file and the first line.
So, go to START -> BSPlayer Subtitle Editor then choose Subtitle -> load new subtitle.
Now, if the file is at a different framerate, choose Framerate conversion (bottom of the window) and select the original framerate and the target one. And press convert button and save the subtitle.
If the file have a different delay, then input the delay to adjust (and the mark + or -) and Apply. Don't forget to save the file.
