no sound with div3 film

Ive downloaded a film with Kazaa, but I dont get any sound with BSPlayer!
Nor with media player or winamp
another div3 film works OK.
Strange thing: with AVI preview no problems., but I cant run subtitles with that program.
Tried Virtual dub: in the beginning sound OK, later on sound distorted.

What to do? :oops:
Do i have to many codecs running?

Ive done some tests:
Avicodec gives an error: violation d'acces a l'adresse 00000002

Gspot says: audio codec is installed no errors but failed to render

your audio is most probably divx audio

gspot thinks the codec is installed because divx audio is a hack of microsoft's wma; since wma is installed on your computer (by default), gspot finds it but it won't work.

there is a divx audio-only installer on divx-digest
otherwise you can install the divx 3.11 audio + video codec
