if you use bsplayer for all your movies, then you have to easy ways to et your subs with the film:
1. give the same name to the movie and the subtitle file
( for example myfilm.avi and myfilm.sub or .srt or ... )
2. write a .bsi file ( ini file for bsplayer ) it's all explained in the bsplayer directory /doc/ini_files.html
here's an example:
let's call the file myfilm.bsi
here's what's in it:

[Main]
NumberCDs=1
CD=1

[Movie]
Title=American Pie 2
Directory=.
FName=FILM.avi
AudioName1=langage

[Subtitles]
Directory=.
Sub1=langage|subtitles.srt

Font=12;Arial Black;24;24
StartTime=00:00:00

---------------------------------------

at the cd root put:
FILM.avi
subtitles.srt
myfilm.bsi

hope you find it useful
