can't get auto hide to work

I just d/l the newest version 1.00 Build 803, I previously had .86 and it crashed (hung) way too much.

In this new version I can't seem to get the main window set up so that it first loads full screen automatically and the main window gets auto hid in the center portion of the bottom of the screen, like the old version would.

Any suggestions.
