Default Cant load subtitules

I downloaded a movie which I couldn't play with BS player. The file extension was .vbr, so I changed the extension to .avi and I was able to watch de movie, but the problem is that I cannot load subtitules anymore. The command just doesn't respond. My sub extensions are .srt and .ssa
Please help me.

First, try downloading the subtitle file again.

1) There are cases when the subtitle file you are trying to use is digitally password-protected, the subtitles may not display.
2) Also the SRT subtitle file may be empty or damaged: if the subtitle file is damaged or has no content, it may not display in the application.
3) The text color is the same as the background color: if the text and subtitle background color are the same, the subtitles may not be displayed in the video file.

But, I would re-download the subtitle file first

Here are other important points: the subtitle file must have the same name as the video file and be located in the same place (in the same folder) as the video file.

To solve this problem rename the subtitle file with the same name as the video file. If the subtitle file name is different from the name of the video file you are trying to play, BS Player may have trouble playing the subtitles. You can rename the subtitle file similarly to the video file to solve this problem. To do this, right-click the video file and select "Rename" from the menu. Try playing the video file with the subtitle file after making this change.

Also, if the subtitle file and video file are in different locations, the subtitle file may not be available for the video file. You may have to manually move the files to the same location (in the same folder).
