Can you be more detailed ? In what conditions (file opening, closing, FF, RW, stop, jump) do the error appear ?

As far as I can see, here is no problem yet in this area.

I just opened a divx5.2 file by double clicking on it in my file explorer. A black frame is displayed, and then it simply crashes before any image of the file is displayed!
I have also windows media player 10, and videolan player installed on my pc...

Windows XP SP2.
Just checked again, actually some divx files are ok, the problem is with divx files that are 5 or 10 frames per seconds and no sound. But they curiously played ok with the divx player that comes with the installation of the new divx codec.

Maybe try new BSPlayer version 1.30 (build 818) (20 Jun 2005); just released!
Info at news-page:
"some changes to be more compatible with new DivX 6 Media Format, no direct support for menus and other features yet"

(N.B.: DivX6: NOT for Win98 and WinMe-users!)
